Small electricals recycling

Do you have a small electrical item sitting in your home gathering dust?

Recycle your small electrical and battery operated items and give them a chance to become something new.

Items you can recycle

Anyone who recycles an item is eligible to enter a free monthly competition to win a prize. For details on how to enter pick up a leaflet at the collection point, or visit www.durham.gov.uk/WEEE. Please note that due to the nature of the collections only items small enough to fit in a carrier bag can be accepted.


Electrical items and batteries can be dropped of at the Community Centre during normal opening hours but if you're making a special trip, why not give us a call to check we'll be open?
