Acoustic Duo Fool's Gold present 'The Blaydon Races of 1862' on Sat 11 April 2026
Taking inspiration from William Irving's painting 'The Blaydon Races' the show sees lots of characters from the time.
Nanny the Mazer, Cushy Butterfield, The Swallwell Cat, Black Diamond, Geordie Ridley himself and many more - this show tells their stories and features a great mix of original and traditional music all about these wonderful characters.
This show is great for audiences all over the world - not just the North-East!
Projected visuals help bring the whole show to life, with state-of-the-art animations and images.
